Start using ebooks

As our technology is developing so quickly, many people are using their devices to do thier homework or business.  Today, most of people use their ebooks to read. When I go to museums or subway, many people read books, using their own devices. I am also one of the users and love to read books with my devices. Then, why people love using ebooks than printed books? It’s really simple to answer. First of all, it’s eco-friendly. For books we have to manufacture the papers by log mass of trees. Moreover, you can save your time and money. If you need certain information you, you can get it immediately, by searching or downloading an ebook. ebooks are really fast and cheaper than printed books. Likewise, ebooks are portable. Imagine that you have to carry huge books. It’s a disaster! In contrast, ebooks are lighter than real books. Additionally, many ebooks are sold nowadays with bonuses like money( you can buy books with these bonuses) , which you usually do not get with a printed book. . By reading ebooks you can“Be the winner in your life!”(Tae Yun Kim), since ,you can save money and time. So, start to use ebooks!

The Disaster

Persuasive paragraph/persuasion

If you work in nuclear power plant or factory that directly affects to peoples’ life, please, don’t forget that you have a duty. Bhopal disaster occurred on 3 December, 1984 UCIL plant in Bhopal. Over 500,000 people were exposed to Methyl isocyanate. Industrial disasters usually happen because of negligence. Each person has a duty. For instance, people who work in nuclear power plant; he or she needs to take care of the Nuclear power plant. However, some workers don’t. They can be lazy. They are people too. However, I understand their work place directly connects to peoples' life. Also, people, who work in nuclear power plant or factory, mustn’t be inattention.  In fact, everything was occurred because of the inattention. Before the day of world’s worst industrial disaster, safety of factory didn’t work at all, such as controller of tempters, and even scrubber system. As a result the worst disaster was happened in Bhopal. Similarly, in many countries have same reason like India. Industrial disasters happen not only because of laziness and intention, but negligence. These three things are public enemy for every people. To prevent that you should take responsibility also, you mustn’t forget that you have duty. “Do your duty as you see it, and damn the consequences.” ― George S. Patton Jr.

NEW END!

Yesterday, I watched one of the classics Casablanca. It was my first black&white movie.
I would say Casablanca was amazing. Usually, I don’t like  movies, because of the ending. However, Casablanca was different from the other. The ending was unexpected. I thought the main character Rick will kill by policeman or run away with woman(love), but, he doesn’t. If I were a director, I would kill him or make him run away with his love.
So, this is my scenario of ending.
At the airport, suddenly the head of the army came and shoot Rick. Rick attempted to
avoid, but he couldn’t. In an airplane, Ilsa ran to him and try to protect him. The head of the army, tried to shoot her, but Victor got off of the airplane and shoot him.  But police officer who was there with Rick, tries to shoot Rick, but Victor protected him, and Rick shoots the police officer. Victor started bleeding. Victor realized that he will die soon, he told Rick to care of Ilza. Army came to prohibit flight to America. Victor says “ Go, father, we don’t have time. I will go all out to protect you, so please go! Ilza kisses him and Ilza and Rick goes to airplane. Victor dies, and the airplane took-off successfully. The end.

What is your value?

Most of people don’t know what is their value. I would say we have really different important value. Value can be cultural or personal. “ If you want to grow into a human bing, you’re going to need some values”(Barack, Obama. Dreams From My Father. New York: Random, 2007. Print). Yes, she is absolutely correct. Without personal or cultural values, we can’t live. Personally, I do not know what is my personal/ cultural value. But, I am sure that I have infinite of values, that can be really different or similar from others. When I think about myself. I automatically remember these words: Acknowledgement, Activeness, Acceptance ( calls Triple A).The most important value that I have is “acknowledgement”. Why? First of all, human can’t be exist without mistakes. I am sure you made some mistakes and I guarantee you that you will make mistakes, again. To fix your mistake, you should acknowledge yourself, right? And the second value that I have is “Activeness”. Well, I am really shy 16 years old boy. When I meet friend or people, I usually keep calm and don’t talk. When I started knowing each other, I am really different ( I am active to know people.) the last thing that I have is “Acceptance”. Before I start describing my last value. You should know that we can’t live without each other. I am really open to new culture, and interesting learn about new cultures. The last value is cultural and personal. Now, I will tell you my last value. Since I am one of the students of AAASP, which is international and really special, our school has a strong advantage that we usually work in groups. Group working is really difficult, since it’s required only one idea or presentation. When you have to come up with only one idea, you should accept someone’s idea or brand new thought. Without triple A (Acknowledgement, Activeness, Acceptance), you can’t work. So, I guess I have really special value.

Unforgettable Memory

            The First Time in Russia

Still I remember the first time, when I flew from Korea to another country.  My family didnt expect that we would go to Russia. (We thought that we will go to China) before, that I didnt know much about Russia.  In the airplane, I was thinking that Russia is really cold country also city that I am going to have hung polar bears When I got off from an airplane, it wasnt Russia, It was Frankfurt, Germany. To be honest, I didnt know where I am going, I was just following my mom and father. I transferred In Frankfurt and again I flew. In the airplane, I didnt say anything and started to ask to myself: are there polar bears with snow?
About 2 hours later, finally I arrived in St.Petersburg, where was exotic and new culture for me. It was cold and dark. I felt really strange. Where I am? nobody answered my question. (We were really sleepy!)
And we went to my father’s friend's house and there we slept.  The 2nd day of Russia was cool, I went IKEA. Actually, I never have seen such big shopping center. Well, since Korea is so small we had a really tall building but not a big one.
Dream came true

When I was in Koreme true. a, I really wanted to see snow. When I came here, it was December. So mostly the weather was snowy. It’s been really cool. I’ve living here for 3 years, but still I am waiting for snow!! BUT! I couldn’t see polar bears. I was really disappointed, but in the zoo, I could see it. I really saticifing with my life in Russia. Russian culture was different, and special than another, I would say especially architecture. Since I’ve been many countries, I felt Europe is really similar to each other. But, Russia is really different, I don’t know why. Maybe I love this here. I’ve learned here many things, such as culture, life, people. I am sure when I go back to Korea, I won’t forget the memories in Russia.

Balack Obama, who is not black or white

Before I start writing, I have to say that I am not black and I am not the age of 8 boys and still can’t understand how he feels, when he read about a man who changed skin color. Maybe he was shocked and he also wanted to change his color skin. Remember, he isn’t black nor white. He was born between the black and white. Which made him difficult to join in black or white. As I told you, I am not white or Black too, but I am Asian. In my country, South Korea, we might have racism, but I don’t have any experience that people bothered me because of the skin color. But what about Obama, nor who was black or white? Maybe he blamed himself because of the skin color? Might be yes. When he read the magazine, I guess he was thinking about skin color, which is noticeable complex for me. I would say people have at least one complex. For instance, I have a strange shape of the forearm. What about you? I am sure you HAVE at least one complex. Moreover, when he read the magazine, he might be surprised that someone changed the skin color by plastic surgery. Don’t forget when he read the magazine, he was eight. Personally, I didn’t know it was possible to change the skin color by plastic surgery.

Many people still suffering from racism. White people bother black people, but Obama was really special that he wasn’t both. Still can’t understand how he felt about it. But I want to convey to people my idea. My idea is the skin color really doesn’t matter. People have different thoughts, that’s why we have a problem and conflict with skin color. But we are people, who can think and compromise ourselves. Be one, Be a friend, be amicable. Let’s get back to our business(about Obama).  I think he didn’t spend a really happy childhood. As you know he has seen father once and most of the time he lived not his mom but grandparents. Although he spent such childhood, look at him now. Does he look a drug user or alcoholic?  No!, he is the first black&white president, Who try to make nor black America or white America, but Untied America. I am not sure whether he enjoyed reading the magazine or his life, but still he is definitely brave and multicultural president. As you read my post I hope you understand my idea and life is hard but joyful somehow. “ I love living life. I am happy.” -Nick Buichichi

Thank you!

Thank you. Mr.Hoose.
I really wanted to say. Since I was shy and didn't have any opportunity to say "Thank you."
Do you remember? When I came here? The first day of school was really difficult. i still remember what happened the first day of School. Mr. Feldman and new school(environment). It was really difficult to adapt. I cried and cried, because it was a disaster for me, but now everything is fine. I thought it would not happen, but now I can see noticeable improvement. I have many friends, Max, Max K., Nickolay, Seoung Hyung Ko, Martin, and Alex. Mr. Hoose you helped a lot, you cheered up, If you didn't I am sure I couldn't make any developments. Before that I thought everybody would not help me. Also, I really want to say Public speaking helped a lot. As you know I was really shy and couldn't talk or present something in front of classmates, and also working in the group was so difficult. But now I am comfortable with these. Well, I can't see a big improvement, but many people saying that I am getting better and better. (Public speaking helped a lot.) when I look back in my past. I think learned many things from you. Thank you!
